An explanation for why videos have been so sparse recently. What you learn may SHOCK YOU TO YOUR CORE.
On hiatus
I’m back, and it’s time to start one of my favourite games ever, Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night. Frankly, after that last game, can you blame me? Microphone volume’s a bit low I’m afraid, I’ll bump it up for next time!

It broke me. This game legitimately broke me. I’m sorry I didn’t keep every… single… last… damn… restart… so you can’t accurately chart my descent into madness. You’ll just have to make do with the unstoppable manic laughter, or the sudden demonic voice. It won. The game won.
If you want to see a full playthrough, check out Gaming Across The Years, a new LPer who’s running through at the moment and is far better at the game than I’ll ever be. Best to start at part 2, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zus1FbE2lJo&feature=plcp. (Part 1 is the same level, but without saving the animals, same as I did.)

This time, I WILL beat the water level. I have decreed it, and it will be so.

The Internet Pedant, saying something good about an awful game? Clearly we are in a world gone mad!

Oh God, it’s more Captain Planet. But I know what I’m doing now, right? Right. By the way, did you know that the fourth planeteers’ power was not water, but “ice that can be summoned inside the ground or floating in midair”? True story.

Captain Planet! He’s our hero! Gonna not show up in this video! Well alright, he’s on the title screen. For the most part though, we just run round as Ma-Ti enslaving mutant frogs and sentient spray can with exploding hearts, and as Wheeler, where we learnt that burning animals is good for the environment. Also, if you find radioactives, just burn them. Problem solved!

I made a promise, in an early video. A promise… that I intend to keep. Time for the Frontier finale!

Another part, already! It’s time to do my part for my country. Well, my planet. Well, my intergalactic government. One of them, anyway.

Time for a brand new LP; Frontier! This is the sequel to my favourite game of all time, and somehow I’ve never played it before; it’s a deep, open-ended space opera, and I’m very excited to finally give it a whirl! This time I take a quick trip out, demonstrate the very basic gameplay and get used to the controls.
