Time for Act 2! And a new act brings a whole new set of issues, like… where do I go next? Especially when the one lead I have dries up almost instantly. Also, witness the wonder of recycled dialogue, puzzles, and solutions!
Holy crap, it’s progress! I’m pretty much done talking to people now, thank goodness, and can get on with actually solving some puzzles. I’ve been asked to get a couple metal things, and little creature, and breath from the very dragon that’s rampaging around the city killing everyone. Guess which I go for first?
I keep forgetting to say this, but eternal thanks to Kevin MacLeod over at incompetech.com for the intro music. If you need music to use yin your projects, for free, I really can’t recommend the guy enough.
You know when there is a problem, and the solution, and then you try it, and everything seems to go the way it should, and then you step back and realise you haven’t actually solved anything? Yeah. Warning: This video contains possibly the whiniest you’ve ever heard my voice go.
With the Discworld LP 2 hours in, and most of that taken up with pointless dialogue that doesn’t advance the game, I decided to make a recap video that would a) summarise the progress has been made, and b) give new viewers a better jumping-on point than sending a good chunk of their day watching Eric Idle and Tony Robinson have a bit of a chat. With everyone I can speak to spoken to, things should pick up a bit from this point on, fingers crossed!
(The background music is the Danse Macabre, in this case done by, you guessed it, Kevin Macleod. Check the Incompetech link on the right for his stuff!)
